Privacy policy

Shush Shim is a small shop. We keep data collection minimal:

• Analytics. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to count visits and see which pages work. It sets Google Analytics cookies, only after consent where consent is required. When you complete an order, we also send Google an order identifier (your Stripe checkout session ID) to count that conversion. Decline and the site works identically.
• Payments. Checkout runs entirely on Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares your shipping address and email with us solely to fulfill your order. See Stripe's privacy policy for their handling.
• Email. If you contact us, we use your email to reply. No newsletters, no lists, no resale of your data — ever.
• Local storage. We save your cookie choice (accept/decline) in your browser's local storage under the key ss-consent, so we don't ask again. It never leaves your browser. After checkout, we also save your order's session ID in session storage under the key ss-purchases, so reloading the confirmation page doesn't count the same order twice.
